NISA Recreational Eligibility Policy

NISA is a strictly seasonal recreational girls fast-pitch league.
Participation is recreational only and is intended to promote balanced competition and player development.

Recreational Only

• No tryouts or cuts are permitted for NISA recreational teams.

• Full-time travel players are not eligible to participate in NISA league play.

Tournament / Part-Time Players (Within the Same Rec Program)

Players participating on tournament or part-time teams affiliated with their own recreational organization may be eligible to play in NISA, provided the following requirements are met:

• These players must be evenly distributed across all teams within the division.

• Coaches and league administrators must coordinate and confirm this distribution before team formation and/or any draft process.

• No team may gain a competitive advantage due to an uneven concentration of advanced/tournament-level players.

Enforcement

Failure to follow this policy may result in one or more of the following, at league discretion:

• Game forfeits

• Player reassignment

• Loss of coach eligibility (season or future participation)

Intent

This policy exists to protect league integrity, maintain competitive balance, and ensure equal development opportunities for all players.
